Steeds meer vraag naar declaranten

Je ziet ze steeds vaker voorbij komen; vacatures voor declaranten. Maar vanwaar komt die drukte ineens? En zal dat zo blijven in de toekomst? Wat doet nou eigenlijk een declarant? Op deze pagina gaan we daar wat meer op in. Uiteraard is het zo dat niemand weet wat de toekomst brengt. Echter is dit zeker wel het juiste moment om van baan te wisselen of de keuze richting bijvoorbeeld een functie als declarant serieus te overwegen.  Reden hiervoor is dat goederen altijd in- en uitgeklaard moeten worden. Goederen zullen altijd van A naar B moeten worden gebracht, de logistiek is natuurlijk überhaupt een branche wat niet zal kunnen verdwijnen.

Wat is een declarant?

Een declarant, ook wel douanedeclarant genoemd, is de persoon die aangifte doet bij de douane. Deze baan is dan ook vooral een administratieve functie. De declarant is normaal gezien altijd aanwezig bij het doen van de aangifte om ervoor te zorgen dat het proces goed verloopt, maar je gaat ook zeker aangiftes samenstellen en documenten controleren.
